Lattner is the specialist for well thought-out concepts, technically sophisticated prototypes as well as individual, high-quality and timely total solutions. The company’s business areas are divided as follows: metal technology, wood technology, plastics technology, fixture construction / mechanical engineering, welded assemblies and surface technology.

In particular, Lattner has been covering the demand for customer-oriented solutions in the areas of load carrier and transport aids, handling devices and work aids as well as mechanical engineering with its metal division since 2003. With simultaneous engineering, for example, load carriers can be designed according to the latest component status. Simulation tests on a 3D basis enable the production of suitable individual pieces before they go into series production. Through the use of CNC technology, production is just as precise as the previous planning of the special solutions. Lattner has its own welding robots that guarantee particularly high process reliability. The welding processes MIG, MAG and TIG are used here. The processing of the surfaces is also done quickly and flexibly by the in-house sandblasting and painting system including drying.

In the wood technology sector, the company has specialized primarily in the manufacture of transport packaging. The production of special pallets, boxes and crates to protect transport goods is customer-specific. In order to ensure smooth transport on land, sea and in the air, structural calculations precede the production.

The focus of plastic production is specifically on the production of individual solutions, such as plastic pallets. However, various milled components as well as injection molded parts are created at Lattner or the adaptation of standard products is taken over. Thanks to the latest CAD technology, the planning and conception phase is already carried out with pinpoint accuracy.
