Son Erich started working in his parents’ business in 2002. In 2003, the trained car mechanic opened up another business area for the company in the field of metal technology. The two-person team specializes in the production of prototypes and custom-made products made of steel and stainless steel.
In the years that followed, the company grew rapidly; the former brewery was bought and renovated to create more space for production. Finally, series production of load carriers will begin in 2005. After a main customer from this area closes, the market opens. In the same year LATTNER Metalltechnik GmbH is founded, the custom-made products are now planned directly with the customer and promptly implemented.
Satisfied customers bring more customers, and the newly renovated location is bursting at the seams. A new property in Pfarrkirchen in the immediate vicinity can soon be opened. In 2012, after the sensationally short planning phase, construction of the new company headquarters will begin. The first production halls will move to the new location in December 2012 after a five-month construction period. The office building will open in the summer of 2013, which now offers Lattner enough space for many other innovations.
